No. Just no. Go is a critical foundation of Kubernetes and Google and every other public cloud provider makes too much money off of managed Kubernetes services to risk allowing Kubernetes to wilt due to a lack of Go support. Even if Google were foolish enough to divest from Go, the community and likely Microsoft as well would swoop in to save the day... again, because there is so much money at stake. I'm less sure about Amazon, but they obviously have a lot at stake as well if Go dies and takes Kubernetes with it. I'm shocked. SHOCKED, I say. (Not really.) To see the comparison to Rust at the end. Rust is a fine language, but I see too many Rusteceans crapping on Go and spreading completely unfounded fears that Go will GO away. It's baseless and it just makes you look silly.
